With our local content, reCurve Media is endeavoring to create new business where there was none before. Our local Sonoma County Wire channel, on Youtube, is the main focus and is designed to tell the stories of our charming Sonoma County community. We, at reCurve Media, have traveled to most major markets to do our work over the years, and have landed here amongst the redwoods, only minutes from the ocean. It is our goal to develop new tools of communication for this thriving rural community.
At Benovia Winery, we embrace the time-honored philosophy that it takes great vineyards and great people to make great wine. Each of our wines is handcrafted to showcase the uniqueness of our estate vineyards or to explore diverse expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from select vineyards in the Russian River Valley and beyond. Our winemaking team is a group of accomplished professionals with some 150 years of combined experience led by Benovia Co-owner & Winemaker/General Manager Mike Sullivan.
There was a man at the side of the road, who did not flinch when asked if we could film him. At Rock Point, just off of Highway 1, Frank Gannon answered with a flick of his wrist, and a shrug of his shoulders. When we commented on how accurately he had captured the colors of the evening, he grimaced and said that he was stuck on the side of a particularly tricky rock face. He said so while perched precariously, with all of his paints and brushes, 30 feet above the waves crashing below. As filmmakers, we were drawn to the motion in the ocean, while Frank mixed the perfect blend of color to match the setting sun. It was a pretty cool moment. It was a Sonoma County moment. Valentine's Day 2014 was one to remember in Sonoma County. Ales for Autism hosted its 3rd Annual Black & White Beer Ball in Santa Rosa at the Veterans Memorial Building and was it spectacular! 28 local brews and two ciders on tap, accompanied by artisan food, some jazzy live music, sword swallowing, belly dancing and, of course, the amazing SLOW MOTION VIDEO BOOTH!

Anna's Hummingbird is 3.9 to 4.3 inches long. It has a bronze-green back, a pale grey chest and belly, and green flanks. Its bill is long, straight and slender. The adult male has an iridescent crimson-red crown and throat, and a dark, slightly forked tail. Anna's is the only North American hummingbird species with a red crown. Females and juveniles have a green crown, a grey throat with some red markings, a grey chest and belly, and a dark, rounded tail with white tips on the outer feathers.
